Our policy at HALE OLA is to admit adults
who are chemically addicted to drugs and/or alcohol, as
well as those who may also have a co-existing emotional
illness. We also admit individuals with chronic
health conditions and those seeking alternative medicine
through
detoxification and cleansing therapies.

Admission of clients will be limited to those who can
emotionally, behaviorally, and physically participate in
the residential program, and who can be expected to
benefit from the diagnostic, evaluative, and therapeutic
treatment services offered.
Admission to Hale
Ola is considered appropriate when the individual:
1.
Is 18 years of age or older;
2.
Has a history of, or current behavior of
drinking and/or drug use; or Looking for optimal health
detox/cleansing program.
3.
Is physically able to participate in the
various aspects of the treatment program; and
4.
Is ambulatory (able to move)
In-depth assessments are conducted with all
clients. The admission process is comprehensive, allowing
the treatment team to obtain information vital to creating
a personalized and effective treatment plan. Assessment of
the client's needs is based on past history and present
level of functioning.
